Farewell to Smiling Toad, you will be missed.

Toad-ally Awesome

After 10 years in our local beer scene, the Smiling Toad is closing their doors on June 3rd, and selling their building to The French Kitchen. We hope everyone can find time to visit the brewery before they are off the map and give Biff some last-time support. They’ll probably need help moving things out of the brewery, so if you’re someone who likes volunteering muscles, check with Biff to see what can be done!

Lots of great Colorado Springs beer people joined us at the Toad for a night to celebrate Biff!

The Final Freely

On Saturday, April 22, Ben Wilder and Mark Wiebe helped Smiling Toad brew the final batch of IP(a) Freely to help the Toad keep going until June. The brew day wasn’t the easiest, but the guys soldiered on and we’ll look forward to enjoying the fruits of their labor here in a week or two.
