Goat Patch Brewing Company embarked on their journey with the intention of creating balanced beers and fostering a sense of community. In recent years, their struggles revolved around the impact of COVID-19, which greatly affected the brewing industry as a whole and those scars continue to affect how breweries operate.
From the ownership side to the front and back of the house, they have built a remarkable group of individuals who continuously strive for excellence. The growth of their team, along with their commitment to quality, has created a unique culture that sets them apart to this day.
We sat down with some OG members of the Goat Patch team: Johannah Murphy, Darren and Cate Baze, to discuss their struggles and unexpected successes over the past six years. As our conversation meandered through an unintentional flagship beer to the support they have received from the community, there’s a strong sense of culture and dedication to the ‘Patch within their employees and fans.
